GE 33701 4-device universal remote set up instructions and pairing codes

GE 33711 4-device universal remote control

The GE 33711 universal remote can operate up to four audio and video devices such as TVs, Blu-ray/DVD players, Cable and satellite receivers, Soundbars, Streaming media players and more. It works with all major brands and supports thousands of the latest audio and video devices (except radio frequency devices like Roku Streaming Sticks and Amazon Fire TV Sticks). The brushed graphite finish adds an extra touch of elegance to any décor while its ergonomic design fits comfortably in hand.

The GE 33711 remote is designed to control multiple audio/video devices. To be able to use, you will need to program the remote for all of your devices. There are two different methods you can use to program the remote: Direct Code Entry or Auto Code Search. The Direct Code Entry method is recommended, as it is the simplest and quickest. The Auto Code Search method searches through all the codes to find a compatible code for your device so it may take longer to set up.

Direct Code Entry

  • Press and hold down the SETUP button on the remote until the LED turns on and remains on.
  • Press and release the device button for the type of device you wish to control (tv, cbl, dvd or aux). The LED will blink once and remain on.
  • Enter the first 4-digit code from the pairing code lists. The LED will turn off after entering the 4th digit.
  • Point the remote at the device and test all buttons to see if the device responds as you would expect. If the buttons do not operate the device, start the procedure again and enter the next code.
